I am afraid of the expression "Like New". Never know what that exactly means. And there is no point in getting drawn into a dispute. Hopefully I can find a decent one from the forumers here.

Now this looks like a good deal on auction. Only problem it is $80 for expresspost delivery to UK :( and will probably be insured with full custom declaration on. At this price $265 it would be fine with delivery and customs but it wont sell for this!

Good luck into trying to find someone on the forum that wants to give up their Iron Man:scat: I haven't seen this yet...

It's also important to look at a seller's feedback. 'Like new' could really be 'like new' when a seller has predominantly positive feedback. You can always ask for actual pics (though small imperfections cannot always be seen in a picture). If they refuse, walk away...

Also, at this point, finding a completely mint (COMPLETELY perfect) Iron Man may be slim. The things have been around for years, for you have to keep perspective.....

I don't really mind light scratches or paint chip. as long as there are no dents. That is what really tick me off when collecting steelbook.

anyway, I'll keep my eye close on this one. I like opened steelie because I can get confirmation for any damages, and I opened all of my steelbook anyway - whats the point of keeping it sealed? how you going to watch the movie lol

Yes I agree. A sealed version doesn't confirm its mint or 'OCD' mint. It just means its wrapped up with seal and you A) cannot see any damages B) it has damages where you can't see them. It's one or the other!

DigitalB, do you own an IM, and is it OCD mint free by any chance?

Blu-Banner rules the steelbook universe bud (especially the old first print ones) and even if IM ever gets released again it won't affect FS's steelbook value, it's the holy grail of all holy grail steelbooks out there ;)
So why is it for sale for a 'mere' $300 on eBay then?

Is it this one?

That seller has been discussed before. The seller has 3 negative feedbacks in 6 months. This IM is not mint and is described with 'minor marks only' that can't be seen on pictures. The way the steel is photographed in the picture doesnt look like it is taken care of. There are no attempts to take the pictures of the marks so you may be surprised when you get this. $300 is normally the starting value for open Iron Man depending on the condition. That's before shipping and still expensive. Well I wouldn't bid for this one because from what I said. It be better if he put that for auction.
