Not to sure about that, a ironman futureshop brand new just sold for 700 USD on ebay. it doesnt seem like the ironman play is causing any impact on the price of ironman FS. If it was made of solid gold i still wouldnt pay that much..

Completely agree. Would never be able to justify spending so much on a steelbook. $200 is the absolute max I would pay, really want the Inglorious Basterds FS

I've slowed down on collecting but this is the only FS steelbook I want that is missing in my collection.

Not willing to pay big bucks for it but hopefully one day I'll get this beauty.

I hate how limited this release was, it really is a stunning release. Makes all those who overly complain about blu banners look silly. This blows away most releases even with it.

Re-print it already!

Not with a different design (yawn).
Not with a poorer finish (yawn).
Not with with a japanese backing card (yawn).

4k print run at a place that ships internationally. Watch it fly off the shelves.

So it'll piss off a few mad collectors, who cares about them? It'll still be very rare, command silly prices, but actually give people a shot of owning it.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. (I maybe should have saved that for the Star Trek thread, but I don't think ST should be re-released as that had a pretty high print run worldwide iirc).

That's one of the main thing I love about my IMs from FS, its rareness. We all know it's not that limited but when someone owns it, it's really rare he wants to get rid of it.

This is my no1 steelbook IMO. The vintage look, the embossing, the bright red and an awesome movie!
