I've never ordered from Kimchi before. Any advise on placing my first order? Do I need to put my details in prior to ordering and how many stages are there in the order process?

Yes, you should absolutely register beforehand, you'll need to be quick to get a copy of this, could very well sell out while you enter your address/register otherwise.

As for stages, if I recall correctly from what I did last time... login, add to cart, go to checkout, select shipping method (I use K-Packet), make sure address info is correct, click Pay, select PayPal, continue to PayPal gateway & pay.

Note that you need to enter both a Telephone and "Cellular Number" when registering. However the same number can be used for both (I don't actually have a landline telephone, so use my mobile for both).

I've found from past orders, for UK numbers you should enter them without the proceeding 0 so 07848 123123 becomes 7847 123123.

Here's what you'd enter in the actual boxes provided as an example:
Local Area Code : 7847 Phone Number : 123123 (for a mobile number)
Local Area Code : 1452 Phone Number : 123123 (for a landline number)

I have a hospital appointment that day and I would not be sure if I would have a decent signal on my phone to place an order as I would be most likely be on a bus home at that stage or waiting for a bus
Signal quality can be hit and miss on a bus even with Wifi and I will need to be at my home to be sure to get an order in

I'm going to have to reschedule the appointment as I need to make sure I don't miss this
This is typical I'm on 2 weeks holidays and the only day I had a pre arranged appointment is the day this goes live

I'm sure it'll be fine, they're using Amazon Web Services now so they'll just scale up server capacity a lot before launch (and back down again after it's sold out).
