Did he ever actually do this via post? Or did he send it to one of the random email addresses someone managed to find? (which means the people that need to more than likely won't actually ever see it).

Reason I ask is last contact I had from him he was talking about emailing them/asking for email addresses.

Edit: The only mention of contacting on their facebook is that they sent an email too.

I think you've made a very important point there. Someone said that border force stated that they could only accept original copies of proof that this item is not counterfeit, so if Tony has only emailed of faxed the paperwork to BF then they may well be deemed as useless. I think Tony needs to let people know if he has in fact sent the required documents via a currier to BF or anyone else that needs conformation of the goods authenticity. It sounds like no one has heard from him since he emailed saying he'd emailed BF.

I did specifically email Tony and also posted to Kimchi Facebook, after @morfeusz visited them - as they told him that they'd need paperwork, via post - not email, not fax. I'm hoping Tony has sent this physically, which I asked him (a copy of my email to him is a few pages back on this thread) but he has yet to reply to either of my emails, and as far as I can tell - has not posted again on FB about this issue.

It's a licensing agreement between Paramount (who are owned by Viacom), and UEK (KimchiDVD's publisher for Iron Man).
You're right, it doesn't explicitly mention IM as (I at least) was only sent a small portion of the complete agreement. Paramount however are the rights holder for the Iron Man films in South Korea.
Do you think Tony could have sent the entire document to BF, and just sent the customers only a small part of the document, to show you that it is authentic and that he is dealing with the problem? I agree that in order for BF to send the steels out to customers, that they may need more detailed information.. specifically for the iron man lenticular release, (as at this point that is the only release BF have notified buyers of it's detention).Seems like there could be one or two other titles from kimchi that have yet to be delivered that members here are worried they may have also been detained (hopefully that isn't the case and its just the xmas traffic holding them up).
fingers crossed there is no further problems with BFUK and kimchi, and that after this has been sorted out, and kimchi has proven that the company only deals with legitimate and official releases that BFUK will acknowledge kimchi as an above board business and let all his products through without detention in the future. That might just be me being overly optimistic. . I would rather have faith that something goes in a positive direction until I am proved wrong. My fingers are crossed that over the next week we start hearing a positive result on this thread. the thing is, they gave people till 2nd to get their letters in, so people should be hearing something soon, even if its just a letter saying that BF will postpone the destruction pending further investigation.

Please can someone pm me the BF email address? I'd GREATLY appreciate it

That question certainly needs following up by Tony then, it wouldn't take him more than two minutes to reply with "yes I have sent full.... via fed ex... or - no I haven't. .."
Before everyone tells me he is a busy guy and is inundated etc etc.. I do understand his situation and think he's doing the best he can.. but taking 2mins to post on facebook is not asking a lot, this situation is extremely time sensitive so for that reason alone it is important to keep his customer's fully informed, and posting on facebook is a much quicker alternative to individually emailing each customer.

I found that information too, but it seems to be specific to East Midlands Airport Cargo, not HWDC (Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre) which is where our items are being held so doubt they will be able to be of any assistance (different departments within the same Government organisation generally have no idea about the others).

It's more than possible yes, but I'm not sure if it is actually the case or not.

Do bear in mind that it is 01:45 am over there though, so might not get any updates until tomorrow now

That number is for HMRC switchboard and they won't be able to assist you nor will they be able to transfer you as Border Force are part of the Home Office.

Even if you called the main Home Office switchboard you will only be advised that there are no public numbers for them.

Someone should wake him up then... lol... just kidding:)

I don't know when Bealay asked that question via email to tony, sorry, I thought it was a couple of days ago, but this thread has had a continuous theme and the dates when I read the posts are merging into one long day for me. My main point in that post you quoted really was that I was trying to reinforce the importance of knowing if a more detailed proof/document had been sent, and if it had been sent by courier or just emailed.
I think Tony is doing pretty well considering he works alone and the difference in time zones. People were posting on xmas day that they couldn't get hold of tony (he was probably asleep) but the very next day he was emailing customers and trying to help with the problem. If this was zavvi dealing with the problem (even with the amount of staff they employ), customers would still be getting automated emails stating something stupid and completely off of the topic you were inquiring about. :sour:

Well like @Towser here I've had nothing no letter or parcel, I've emailed tony countless times about this with zero response about my missing parcel, the only reason he's supposedly "sent" the letter because UKBF has them and it's an issue, honestly do you think if they all went missing he would give a rats ass, personally I don't, I've given him chances since passing the deadline to send me one response, hell an "I'm looking into it" would have been nice but no nothing at all so I'm getting my money back

Is it not worth waiting until we've had updates from UKBF on what is happening, as you could still get your box through if all goes well. As it stands none have been destroyed so once they start getting released then yours could be in that lot (even if you didn't get an official letter).
