Well no letter or IM today :( Hopefully one of you guys who has had a letter will hear some good news soon. Hopefully common sense will prevail and they will halt destruction of all steels held.

Here's hoping. Border Force received my letter on 30th Dec before 1pm, but as of yet they haven't contacted me about anything.

If they try to claim that they didn't receive the letter on time or similar, then I'll be using their complaints procedure and attempt to reclaim the full cost of the item plus the £6.40 I ended up having to pay for postage from Border Force (not KimchiDVD) as it's clearly their fault.

Hope it all works out for those who haven't recieved theirs yet guys. I managed to get mine with little bother (apart from the extra charges from Parcelforce)

Did he ever actually do this via post? Or did he send it to one of the random email addresses someone managed to find? (which means the people that need to more than likely won't actually ever see it).

Reason I ask is last contact I had from him he was talking about emailing them/asking for email addresses.

Edit: The only mention of contacting on their facebook is that they sent an email too.

I think you've made a very important point there. Someone said that border force stated that they could only accept original copies of proof that this item is not counterfeit, so if Tony has only emailed of faxed the paperwork to BF then they may well be deemed as useless. I think Tony needs to let people know if he has in fact sent the required documents via a currier to BF or anyone else that needs conformation of the goods authenticity. It sounds like no one has heard from him since he emailed saying he'd emailed BF.

I would say emailing/faxing is a stay of execution...And yeah, sending original copies would be highly advisable...

Right
I had a proper look at the "documents" that Tony has emailed to? Customs? BF.

To my surprise and shock it is a very generic agreement between the Hungarian subsidiary of Viacom and UEK. Unless my phone is not displaying the letter properly THIS DOES NOT MENTION IRON MAN AT ALL!
IT IS WORTHLESS IN ESTABLISHING PROOF OF LEGITIMATE USE OF COPYRIGHT FOR THIS PARTICULAR RELEASE.

So if you guys think this will persuade BF that the goods are genuine let's just say that it would be a minor miracle.

It's a licensing agreement between Paramount (who are owned by Viacom), and UEK (KimchiDVD's publisher for Iron Man).
You're right, it doesn't explicitly mention IM as (I at least) was only sent a small portion of the complete agreement. Paramount however are the rights holder for the Iron Man films in South Korea.

To convince penpushers in BF I would think that the letter would have to be extremely specific leaving no room for doubt as the accusations being levelled by BF is pretty serious stuff.

True, if Border Force get in touch regarding my letter, I'll be sure to point them in Tony's direction as I'm sure he'd feel confident in supplying them with the full agreement.

Copyright approval can be a complicated mess. Remember when Disney /Marvel themselves got into trouble selling suitcase version of phase 1 marvel movies.

UEK needs to explicitly state Product XXXXX Catalogue number XXXXX Barcode XXXXXX is licenced for distribution under the general agreement blah blah between Paramount and UEK. KimchiDVD is the approved reseller....

UEK needs to send this to FACT...Tony can also send an UEK original copy to BF with all the order numbers being held...

My TDKR non exclusive shipped from Kimchidvd is also MIA from 13th December.
My dallas buyers club from kimchi and tdkr from novamedia are both mia so hopefully it is just a backlog , from experience I'd say we will all know more this time next week after everything starts getting back to normal
