i really hope kimchi changes the lenticular slip on this release, way too similar to the blufans one

that lenticular was posted as a suggestion in this thread multiple times looonnnng before blufans announced their steelbook.

as for the fully revealed package.. NICE!!

looks like Paramount approved the front cover of my proposed artwork B.

i'm not totally thrilled with the interior artwork as i think my design looks best for sure, but overall this is gonna be a bloodbath that makes "300" look like Sesame Street.

it really doesn't make a difference whos art got approved first, just really think its too similar and someone, anyone should change it lol. At this point, i prefer blufans lenti because of the Chinese writing and i like the 1/4 slip from kimchi.

They're not the same. Kimchi's changes from Stark to Iron Man and Blufans is just Iron Man with Chinese writing. Besides, its probably too late to change.

Well I stand corrected. All I've seen are photos of the blufans and haven't read anything about the other side being lenticular as well.

Neither Blufans or Kimchi can touch the FS or Play Steels. The slip covers are the only thing that makes me want either.

as far as i am aware, kevin on bd confirmed blufans release to be lenticular with that transition. With the mockup that kimchi released, it seems both are similar. I didnt mean to derail this thread but i hope that cleared it up

Not sure if I'd forgotten or I simply hadn't seen it but I didn't realise the Blufans slip had the same art work as this (or this has the same artwork as that)

The front and back artwork is decent but the inside is just awful. I'm happy with the Play version which not only looks great but cost a fraction of the price this is likely to be sold for.
