I received my 2 Iron Mans and 1 Iron Man 2 Steelbooks today in PERFECT condition.

I'm gonna open 1 Iron Man, and keep the other one sealed. I will keep Iron Man 2 sealed until I have decided if I keep it or Hong Kong version.

And the Steelbook does look very nice, my only complain about it is that inside artwork. I doesn't fit there AT ALL. If you look at the blue sky behind Iron Man in the inside artwork, you notice it's the same sky Iron Man 2 outer artwork has. It would have fitted so much better in Iron Man 2.

I guess whoever was deciding about the inside artworks was blind and did not understand anything about placing proper art.

So I would say this is one very cool Steelbook, but not perfect.

I will not bother taking pictures with my crappy cell phone since you guys have taken all the pictures needed already.

there was a mixup during production as noted a few pages back and the inner artwork was swapped by mistake but it was too late to reprint all 4000 copies again

it wasn't intentional but we all got emails saying that it had changed

I had 11 steelbook boxes from Play.com at the weekend. 4 were for Iron Man 1 (not all for me).

I heard about mix ups and people not receiving, so as I was opening the boxes, 1 by 1, i was really nervous.

What made it worse was, I was on to my last 4 boxes and still no iron man 1 lol. Luckily the last 4 were them.

True story..

Postman delivered a bulk package from Play.com today. Opened it to find the only thing missing from it is my Iron Man

Received The Thing, Bourne Trilogy and 2 copies of Iron Man II. The thing is, they were all dispatched on 31st July.

I rang Play and was told that the Iron Man was dispatched seperately at 8am while the bulk package was dispatched 2 hours later at 10am. They said that if it doesn't get delivered by 5pm tomorrow, they declare it missing in the post. Now I'm pretty certain I won't be receiving my copy of Iron Man. The fact that I received the second package before the first isn't looking too good

One thing that I'm sure of after today is that it's an inside man at Play screwing with the orders. I mean, why didn't they just ship the whole lot together? Why was it the most valuable one that was shipped on it's own and then mysteriously goes missing??

It would be very easy to send an e-mail saying your items are posted and then all of a sudden they're lost in transit (I remember, I think Sunnyx saying that they mysteriously found all his Iron Man's lying in a corner in the warehouse. How convienient!)

At least if it was one of the other titles that went missing I could just reorder it. I seriously feel like puking right now

Funnily, lately larger play parcels I've had in 3 days, and the small ones are taking longer!

I spoke to my postman since (He came back to a house nearby and I stopped him!) and he said it will probably turn up that he sees that kid of thing happen all the time. So that gives me a little hope

I'm sorry. Don't mean to worry anyone else. It's just that there's been a lot of mix ups with this particular Steelbook shipping that I might be over reacting!

I got iron man 2, Serenity, The Thing and the Bourne collection today and my Iron Man wasn't with them. I checked my emails and that was the first dispatch email I got and Serenity the day after. I noticed you are also from Ireland, strange I hope I get it tomorrow.

It is strange. I just can't see why they wouldn't pack them all together? Especially within two hours of each shipment? Reading back through this thread, it seems it was a common occurance so I feel a little better knowing that I'm not the only one and hopefully it will turn up late

No, play always takes ages for the rest of Europe. My last order arrived 4 weeks after being dispatched. So I got at least 3 more weeks of agony before I know if I will have Iron Man + 2 in perfect condition or not.
