However, with IM already being a back catalogue release, it makes sense that there will be the second on the way at some point too.

Just out of curiosity .. if an item is not released and is on pre-order and they have a buy it now price attached , do they expect payment straight-away ? or wait for the release date ? Do ebay have any ruling on this or is it against the rules ?

Word of advise, do not pre-order anything off eBay! If you pre-order and 30 days pass you are no longer within the buyer's protection.

It means they want payment now, then as soon as they have the item (Maybe September probably a bit later) they'll ship it out. Not sure on the eBay rules for this, i've seen many pre-orders especially for the recent play wave (alien, predator, braveheart etc). I'm sure it's fine but I would always buy direct from play, first because of price, second because of packaging and third because of insurance, but not necessarily in that order. :D

I don't know where this guy got the information from, but he claims it's gonna be released on September 24... if he's right it's going to be a really expensive month :p

I actually emailed this guy when it first went on eBay coz I wanted to know what he knew that we didn't and this was his response "Hi yes it's pre order it will be on play.com sometime end of June and the price, I know the release date it's because my mate works for play.com and told me the release date that's how I know". He was a nice guy
