agreed, the people saying the embossing on the FS will save it if the play one doesnt have any are trying to make themselves feel better lol.

Totally agree with you, this one doesn't have the ugly blu-ray banner for a start.... and the artwork is far superior.

You should know better then to try and start ****, because lets be honest ... all it does is take demand down for a while then its back up there like all the others.


I am Legend FutureShop - IAL CA came out and then IAL FS was hardly wanted ... but then look at what IAL FS sells for now. And that was 100% identical artwork ... these arent identical and nor are their finishes.

There are plenty of examples like that.

Its another bad ass Iron Man, like how we have many bad ass Dark Knights etc.

I'm sure Play will do a good job with this, (given its importance) but lets not base things on mock art alone.

Just saying, cause you can look at say Casino they just released the mock art looks great while the people on the front in person have a bit of a faded look. A lot like some of those Japanese steels, mock art looked great but in person a lot was left to be desired.

What the hell are we talking about FS? Let's talk about this beauty!

In the end I dont even care if its embossed, I just love this release and I will finally be able to complete my steelbook collection of the "Avenger steelbooks" - and I didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars!

What do I care about FS? If it makes you happy it should be sold for 5 grant, I don't care! I will finaly have my Iron Man Steelbook, thank you play!

wasnt trying to start ****, its my opinion. I too have spent big bucks and owned the FS one a few times so i wasnt trying to start any ****.

Fell like the only way my FS version can be saved is if this doesn't come embossed/de-bossed. I would be surprised if this steel is for that price For the sake of FS owners like myself, sorry chaps but I hope it isn't!

I totally agree with you, however i'm struggling to think of the last Paramount steelbook that wasn't up to scratch... All their latest ones have been superb.

At the end of the day i'm just happy to be getting this baby, embossing or no embossing!

Although similar its definitely not the same artwork as the FS version. So why do people want this to not be embossed or debossed? Surely you would like two awesome iron man steels rather than one?

Woop Woop, I am really excited about this steelbook like the majority of you. I can't stop starring at this design. I kinda wish the Iron Man 2 steelbook design was on par with this design, so it could sit well next to each other. However I am very grateful for Play to release them both. Now my Avengers collection will truly be assembled

I was a new collector end of last year, like many other not around for the Iron man, Rambo, IAL days. half the joy of collectiong was hunting these grails down.

Just because your new doesn't mean you should just automatically get all previous decent releases

What Wreck meant was this Steelbook will intentionally be DENTED thus giving an debossed effect.

i agree i would love for this to be embossed, as the front isnt even the same as the FS version being embossed doesent make a difference. oh and almost forgot this doesent have a blue banner. so dont no why all the going on bout it.
