Hi everyone. My first post and nice to be part of this community. This steelbook really looks to be most beatifull steelbooks i've ever seen. Really this looks much better than any of Marvel's steelbook. Thor comes close, but this really tops it.
It is indeed a beauty (but will always come 2nd after FS one, had to say that sorry hehe) & welcome to HDN forum bud :scat:

Welcome to HDN buddy, hopefully your post is the first of many! This steel looks awesome and I reckon it will sell out way before release! So get your Pre-order in!

Thanks everybody, it's cool to be on board. Yeah, got my preorder in few days ago. I really dont want to take any chances of missing this preorder.

Rumour has it that this will go OOP shortly

Hmmm. I am just wondering whether going OOP so soon is good or bad.... If it goes OOP so soon, won't play.com think that it is a good idea to issue another 4,000 to satisfy market demand? I am just playing devil's advocate.

Anyway, going OOP so soon means that people are buying multiple copies and there will be a lot of "spares" around for sale.

why, do you really think there is only 4000 copies

Welcome to the forum steelbookonly

It's a fair question but we should have no reason to doubt Wreck's info, which is what these comments are based on. He works closely with Play and I don't think he has passed on any duff info yet. They have also collaborated on exclusive artwork so Play would have no reason to provide him with false numbers and sour that relationship.

If 4k is the number he has been given then 4k it is. There have been many serious and longstanding collectors also suggesting this will go OOP very quickly and I would back them up and say get yours ordered if you haven't already.

And I'm going to take an educated stab at it going OOP much faster than many other steelbooks, closely followed by IM2, and lots of people being unhappy that they didn't listen to the warnings! ;)

They would never do that because then about 2000 would be cancelled ASAP by collector's that wan't limited

never doubted what wreck was told i believe he was told 4000, and i believe him to be honest, ive ordered mine ages ago, chronicle is no longer for sale from play.com , only private sellers have it, its sold out alot quicker than ironman is selling ,im guessing it had 4000 limit too? or was it less? you would think at 4000 ironman would have sold out ages ago especially since some people have ordered alot of them and it is the most popular steelbook on play for ages

im not sure how you work out chronicle sold out faster then iron man as chronicle came out ages ago?, iron man will go oos whilst under pre order, chronicle did not.

In that case, no worries! :D:scat:

Was Chronicle UK a 4,000 issue too? I am mindful that that was a world wide release. Quite similar to MI4.

On the other hand, Alien Anthology was 4,000 and was the most popular play.com steel for some weeks. And it has not gone OOS yet.

As Deuce eludes to, IM has only been pre-ordering for a week and I don't know of many, if any, 4k print runs which have gone OOP that quickly (but stand to be corrected). It is obviously still available so I'm only going in what I feel will happen (Again, I may be proven wrong! :p)

Chronicle went to pre-order back in March so took 3 months to go OOP (a couple of weeks after release date), which is still pretty quick, but it's safe to say IM and IM2 won't even make it to release date based on 4k

i dont mean it sold out faster as you have said it was released ages ago, but you would think chronicle would still be available on play and ironman would be sold out based on how popular the movie really is compared to chronicle
