It would be incredible if a 4,000 copies issue can go OOP within a week or two.

If you think about it, it's not just hidefninja that are aware, theres the bluray.com and AV forum with hundreds of members there. No doubt each member will buy multiple copies and word spreads around to all parts of the world. Play.com gonna have mayhem on these steelz :hilarious:

Probably because they only post to europe? Suprised to see terminator down the list and still in stock also! What about predator and alien?! Common guys the sooner they sell out the sooner they're worth something!

Or you mean the sooner everyone bulks orders forcing them OOP to sell on ebay?

This comment is up there with sellers sending steels in jiffy bags, it sucks.

Well funny enough, in my mind as soon as a retailer/etailer knows their qty then its automatically OOP. (Out of print) as they have no intention of reprinting. The term OOP is more reserved for regular amarays and more often now digibooks. A lot of times they are making Digibooks here in the USA with a limited run because on street date they also release an amaray. When the digibook is sold out, the amaray is what gets reordered.

The key term, and in the case of this steelbook is OOS. Out of stock. So far the 4k limit is not supposed to change and thus its technically OOP (regardless if they have gone to print yet) ... its more a matter of when will this go OOS .... and that will be very soon. ;)

What I'm trying to say is strictly by the numbers. Personally I like the stainless steel look of the German trilogy over the Korean one anyday, but thats just me. I guess thats why I really like RE Quad, its also got that stainless steel look to it. Don't get me wrong, I think this IM looks great. Probably gonna get a couple myself, since the 2 FS versions I own are unopennable, that is unless you want to see $500 go down the drain. Even in pre release, I was waiting for RE on ebay, hoping I could get a few for $50-$60, never saw a 1. Had to go to amazon.de, and paid a hefty premium. I woulda been ecstatic to see 10 different sellers during pre release, like this IM.

Yup, to each his own in regards to liking the art of a steel. I love how I can like one of my steels a lot. (German 3:10 to yuma) but most hate it. Different strokes for different folks.

As for RE Quad, there was a group buy held here and folks got them much cheaper. Stick around, and enjoy the fun and in no time you can get in on group buys and save some $$$. 2 sealed FS's ... niiice, you must have had those a while ... you from CA?
