Yeah, suppose you're right. I have a feeling at least some others will have this too, it's certainly not a major thing but still slightly annoying when I like these things perfect.

Suppose I should be glad I have a copy and that it's not dented or scratched.

Got my IM1 today, no IM2 yet but they were dispatched a day later (tuesday) so I have a feeling they'll arrive tomorrow.

Bit annoyed though as all of them are slightly damaged in some way, and not all of them were purchased for me.

Has anyone else's copies got these kind of black lines across the front? I have 2 which have the same problem. They're not scratches but look to be from manufacturing, maybe going through a machine or something. See the pics below (I've also included a pic of a copy which I opened which has paint damage). It doesn't show up too brightly on the pics but in person they can be seen easily. There is 2 of them on the bottom half of the front and then 1 on the bottom edge.

That would be the plan but with all talk about cancelled pre-orders and all these mess-ups I'm worried that I'll send it back but then they won't be able to fulfill a new copy...

I would be more than worried. I think you're guaranteed not to get a new copy. You would probably get more on eBay than returning unless it's completely trashed.

I agree, the lil bit of paint issue on the bottom should still net you more than cost I would presume. Or if someone gets one with a damaged back you could trade them yours and then someone can at least make one perfect steelie. ;p

and just like most here a no show for me either, at both work and home. so hope there turn up tomorrow i usually recieve my pre-orders on a saturday, just got 16 days off work as well and was hoping for a sleep-in (looks like thats not happening now).

Also glad to see you got your order sorted sunny i get angry when play.com stuff up on one steel of mine so could only imagine what you felt like.

I will hopefully get mine tomorrow. On first glance in that picture it looks like that is the edge of the ratings sticker, but I could be wrong
