Payed £67.74 for both including P&P. Worked out cheaper than most buy it now listings on eBay, but still more than I wanted to pay, and I probably shouldn't have on principle... but I just wanted the steelbooks too much not to!

I've just bought both on the cheapest BIN listings for £70 including postage. Auctions can go either way.

Unless you have stuff to trade then I think thats a good price for the two. Best to buy them now as I can only see the price going one way.

That's the way I see it too.

Oh, I agree completely, which is one reason by I went for it. Rather pay just under £70 now rather than potentially double or more in the future. Only problem is that my girlfriend will kill me when she finds out! :ohno:

She know's nothing yet!.. But that's only because I bought my first steelbook at the weekend just gone... but she'll find out soon enough though... there should be 6 or 7 more coming through the post in the next few days. :giggle:

Just do what I do. Get them delivered to work and bring them home one at a time. ;)

Or a PO box ... which in turn allows you to get them one day sooner if your post office is lazy to send on routes.

Got both IM steelbooks delivered today from Ebay. Paid through the tooth for them, but they are both immaculate and gorgeous.

That'll teach me for not ordering when I should have done.

Got mine yesterday, it's fantastic. I have to say that I liked the futureshop Iron Man better when I first saw pics...but now having them both in person, I think I prefer this one!

I missed the first IM1 steelbook because I wasn't buying Bluray's yet, and I missed this re-release cuz... I don't know why.

Do people think this newer release sold out just because of the possibility of higher sales on the secondary market, meaning the price should come down eventually? Or did people buy all of these because they intend to keep their copy? Basically, should I buy one now or will the prices come down eventually?

I think it sold out for two reasons. One: people though it would become valuable like the FS version. Two: it looks ****ing amazing, better than the FS in my opinion. I don't think the price will fall unless there is a re-release or reprint in the near future.

Also people wanted a good clean IM 1&2 in steelbook format and the price was amazing for what Play supplied!

In my opinion think the will creep up as the original Play.com release stock was so limited so at the moment supply is matching demand but as collectors keep theirs the stock available will diminish.

It was the moment the best value SB release I know of.

certainly the best value steelbook ever.
OK there have been a lot of £9.99 play.com exclusives and many of them beautifull) but the IM steel at £10.99 was an absolute bargain.
play could have charged nearer £20 and it would still have sold out (knowing that just about every steelbook collector would want a copy)

i think the price will rocket as soon as the buy-to-sell ebayers have moved their copies.
i certainly wont be parting with my copy (unless i really hate the film. yes, i have not yet seen iron man :hilarious:)
