499€?:hilarious:
definitely too much, I wouldn't pay more for a sealed mediamarkt version than for the play.com one as I personally think it doesn't look as good by far

@Wreck
Hi, yes i mean which one has sold for the most money, Thank you.

My friend, have one a Sealed and Mint Version of Ironman MediaMarkt Germany Steelbook.
He want 499€..., i don't have experience about Steelbook´s, but is that a normal Price?

Are you sure its a friend of yours ? EEK! seems like a rip off to me.
By the way better get the play.com SB or if you want something more pricey get to Iron Man FS.

This isn't even selling for 100$ outside of Ebay these days. I thought this would be worth much more considering the gap to the FS version. I guess there are that many floating around still for sale to keep the value down..

I've noticed a lot more for sale in recent months than usual.
Probably people getting out of the game after the saturation of the market :)

This Steelbook is one of the steels that made me start collecting. Paid $125 about a year ago new sealed mint on amazon. I opened it as I always do and it is truly mint. To me its a grail. Here's a pic, front back & interior:

Usually goes for around the £60 mark here so $125 isn't too bad. Seen it go for a lot more than that too. Yep truly a Grail and in my opinion nicer looking than the FS version. :scat:

Got one from the HDN store a few months ago, as well as the second one. Love both. Wish I was around back in the Play days... was probably very exciting. And hell, wish I was around back in the early days as well. Lots of Disney/Pixar/FS releases that I missed out on that are destroying my wallet. The hunt can be fun (and frustrating at times) but I still think it would have been funner going to the store and buying these gems at retail prices rather than paying collector mark ups. Anyway, better late than never. FS and BB seem to be getting back into it now, and then there's Plain Archive. Looking forward to both since I'm getting sick of needing to import steels at crazy prices. $30 a pop for brand new releases and $45 for "premium" ones. Can't go wrong with that :)

I think this would be rarer if it was cheaper, people who have it would most likely keep it instead of suffering dollar sign eye syndrome. There is always copies of this to be found on ebay and the hdn store hasn't sold out neither and they've had it for sale for awhile. People seem to want money more than they want this steel. I don't see this as a grail, I just see it as expensive

They're both sold out on the HDN store.

They are still 3 of my all time favourite steels. Thor (HMV) and the IM steels just cant be beat. Im a DC Fanboy, but none of the batman or man of steel steelbooks have come close to beating them.
