LOL  Thanks for the vote of confidence @psychoscot! :p Ah well, we live and we learn don't we... ;)

Hopefully lesson learned is not to believe anything Zavvi or its representatives tell you. Zboxes barely sell 1000 units, basic print run on a steel is 4000, simple maths tells you that 3000 are sitting unsold and won't shift with further boxes, they had to be relisted at some point on their own.

Well put and hear hear... I'm thankful I didn't fall for their tricks with the Cap America and ZBOX coupling too! And like I previously stated, "NEVER AGAIN!" (No matter what the Steel) ;)

The simple truth is that nobody knew if once exclusive to the ZBOX it would remain always exclusive, though the impression given on another site was that it was an ultra low print run exclusively tied . . .
Some bought into this notion of the low print run and others didn't see the business sense in it (from the retailer's point of view).
New information posted here recently - that the print run of each Marvel lenti is up to 4,000 for each - should indicate immediately to any sensible person that the idea of making up and selling 8,000 ZBOXs is something that could be part of a story introduced by Rod Serling in the Twilight Zone but to be completely fair this info was not revealed until very recently so nobody that bought into the ZBOX bundle should feel bad about buying it IMO.

Zavvi again when will they stop all this they will lose all their customers if problems like these continue.

I knew, and I warned y'all

Is this the same Z-box curator that said this steelbook was exclusive to the Z-box.:rofl::rofl:
Bet there are loads left.

Also the rest minus Thor (which will come back) are still in stock and I can't imagine they sold more of these with a Zbox compared to the stand alone editions that are still available.
I can't see more than a 1000 being sold with the Zbox at the time.
If that

Yo @Flash, is this your first time dealing with zbox? Because many of us would've told you not to buy into this sh!t. Would've stopped you from ordering if needed! :D
I feel bad for people who buy into these kind of gimmicks.
But classic Zavvi :cautious:

At the time it was announced, this steelbook was exclusive to the Z-box.

For a long time, it was the only way you could order it. By ordering the Z-box you were guaranteed to get hold of a copy. Very few of us thought that it wouldn't come out as a separate release later on, which it now has. Zavvi have played this game before, and while uneducated buyers might fall for it, I'm surprised any one on here does. The print run alone should give away that it's never going to sell out with a Z-box (and will probably still be around for a while like so many other 4K runs).

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, 'exclusive' seldom means exclusive. It means 'exclusive for a while', 'exclusive at one retailer in one country, but available elsewhere in the world', 'exclusive unless it doesn't sell out as part of a Z-box'. I picked up a San Diego comic-con 'exclusive' figure at retail in Singapore a month ago. I've bought numerous 'exclusive' Star Wars figures as part of a multi-pack which later got single releases.

Here especially, we should be used to it. When buying from Zavvi (or any retailer) you need to decide if the item you're buying is worth the asking price. If it is, buy it and enjoy it, knowing it may crop up cheaper later. If not, wait. You might get it for half the price, but you might also have to use Ebay if the gamble doesn't pay off.

I've never fallen for a Zavvi tactic like this, but I have bought some of their Disney steelbooks at full price which have then turned up in a BOGOF the following week. It's part of the game I guess.
