I admit, the zero finish is non streaky but that’s it. The title is so small it’s pointlessly spot glossed. I hate it when they do that. And although it has back art, it did nothing for me. I actually sold mine it’s that bad and I rarely do that. I’ve put it toward this which has turned out so much better
Very happy, and now stuck a order in so this has only cost me a couple of quid for a better upgrade in case and disk
Would do mate but virka has done his usual pic pinching and posted the inside art alreadyI think it looks very good, especially day time scenes where HDR helps bring a lot of highlight, close up views looked great too I still remember scene where Ben and Beverly met the first time that scene look great

Well, I think overall it was good but not great, love that front art and ok with inside but the back was real meh considered there’re a lot of good official arts could be used, as the price for now I’d suggest to wait for a price drop, besides who knows maybe they’d re-re-release again to coincide with the release of Chapter 2 but with better arts...

Arrived today . . . awesome, classic steelbook with perfect use of spot gloss and metallic reflections - would highly recommend to anyone remotely interested in the film or in steelbooks.
Yes, and was so surprised to see this in the OP when it first appeared thinking it must be the art for CHAPTER TWO (as same as one of the "Chapter Two" posters) but great to see something really v. classy for CHAPTER ONE thus making it 6 steelbooks (at the last count) released:-

Only problem I have with this now I have it in hand is that the matte parts are ever so slightly on the streaky side rather than the nice satin/silk like matte finishes you can get (Oh and obviously the back is awful as well)

Mines not streaky at all. But yeah agree that I’m shocked this hasn’t been done yet by a premium
