Never did anything for me as a kid, watched it in earnest last year and absolutely loved it.Dug the VHS tape out of a box the other day. This may be the year I finally watch this movie for the first time.
Wait. So the blu-ray disc only contains the colour version?Just arrived and while a lovely steelbook not happy they included the colourised version Blu-ray Disc in the set when the external jcard says black and white version on both 4K and standard bluray. Only the 4K is black and white
Yep the 4 k Disc is black and white but the Blu-ray Disc is the colourised version. The j card has them both as black and white as does the listing.Wait. So the blu-ray disc only contains the colour version?
Thanks, that's very disappointing.Yep the 4 k Disc is black and white but the Blu-ray Disc is the colourised version. The j card has them both as black and white as does the listing.
Emailed amazon so they may change the listing
agreed. colourising old b+w films. it's the post-3D conversion of its time. i've got a 4K set up, but can't believe they didn't give us the original b+w version on both disc formats. Thanks, that's very disappointing.
Or they may not. Their listing for the 4K boxset of Ghostbusters 1&2 still states that they come "together in a limited edition 4K Ultra HD Steelbook®", which they don't. I keep telling them that their listing is wrong, but over a month later and they still haven't corrected it...Yep the 4 k Disc is black and white but the Blu-ray Disc is the colourised version. Yes - always best to check the actual discs themselves - same when people ask about audio tracks or subtitles. The J-cards just aren't always accurate, unfortunately.Yep your right @paulboland it is the black and white version even though the disc label says colourised version. That’s so bizarre, that’s for the heads up was going to get amazon to investigate.
