It is definitely glossy or glossy varnish as you can see the surface glowing.

Kevin, out of curiosity, why are the slipcovers under such tight wrap right now? I would figure since that seems to be the unique exclusive factor here that they would want to give us a preview! Especially now that other countries are selling out of their exclusives for this movie.

My guess is because you have to get approval if using film images. However if you use exact same image you can get away with it. Kinda like how Elite Squad was exact same but just cleverly done.

So they are probably working hard on trying to get the best product out but nothing set in stone yet in regards to the slip.

So far that I know of China (blufans), UK (Entertainment Store), Taiwan (JSDVD and YESASIA). I am just going by the threads made.

It's early too so that may climb a lot getting closer to release day since it is still a ways to go.

I don't think that is many countries for such an awesome steelbook. I was blown away by the pics. Embossed title, glossy steel with shades of light and dark. This is too early to say but there are elements which remind me of Thor steelbook....I am just saying....

I am just wondering whether I can afford to collect a copy from each country....
