It´s still easily available for reasonable price on bay....but I would love to have the original french steelbook, first release, with blu banner (which I normally don´t like, but I don´t mind on this steelbook at all )....

Looove the look of it, such a beauty, old school and classy :cigar::cigar::cigar: (If somebody wants to get rid of it by chance, shoot me PM :coffee:)

I didn´t know that, thanks for info ;). Won´t change my mind though and in case I get this in a future I will probably change the disc then
No worries mate, all those TF1 releases have forced French subs. If you are changing the disc it's not a problem though.:)

recently i had the chance to see this film, awesome! so i decided to get this steelbook, today i got it but i'm very disappointed, me not like it, hopefully we have a nice premium edition soon..........it will do for now!

I don´t like this one either.

You better hunt down the ol´ french TF1 release, glossy with blu banner, release date 2009, true classic!

i checked up on that one but i hate the lettering, thanks but somehow i think we will have a premium in a recent future, we have reservoir and pulp right now, so i'm crossing my fingers for this one as well.......

I LOVE the lettering :D but to each his own of course, I believe Nova will come up soon with their WEA, crossing fingers as well! They must! I want all QT collection from Novamedia :cigar::coffee:

French pressing are a nightmare for the forced subs. Elephant films seem to be one of the few that don't do this practise.

Elephant films are great, I've been getting the Murder She Wrote series from them and they have no forced subtitles and also a few classic films. They never do forced titles and on the rare occasion they do stuff that has only an English language track, it has removable french subtitles.
