My status is packaging.
It's my first order from Taiwan, does anybody know how long this will take?
Depending where you are in the world last time I ordered from them it took about 10-14 business days
Im jealous of you peeps getting this one too.... I absolutely loved John Carter but the future shop one alone will have to suffice. I really like the brown tones on this one.
Really? If anything when I put the FS version among my collection is pops out like crazy. The yellow title on the orange/red background is so vibrant. Both are so nice its hard to call it but I guess I might be biased but I think FS one might be nicer by 1%, lol. The FS one not having the bluray logo makes it a complete clean viva and the cover art in real life is much nicer then in pictures.
I don't think you can go wrong with either to be honest... Both are reaaaally nice.
Right I got the postage fee email with the following message (as I wrote them an email upon preordering to make sure that item is damage free prior to packing/sending it):
Really want it but not sure what to do now from the picture above, can't really tell whether it's paint chip or scuffing from that picture, what'd ya think guys?

That stinks! I think if you are planning to take it you should see if they would give you some kind of monetary discount.
I doubt they will and my guess is that I'm not the only one who will get this with these defects. Having said that I'm still thinking about it.
I just sent them a message to see if they will tell me the same thing about my order. If mine fall into the same issue I'm going to try and see if they would be willing to work something out. Although like you are speculating I believe they won't do anything either as this item seems to be really limited and everyone is after it. I guess you can always order the one from HMV.HK but the problem with that one is it's not sealed. It only comes in a polysleeve baggie.
I'm really only after the Taiwanese one bud and I have just sent payment 'EMS' together with a message (also sent them an email) to pick the best out of the bunch and send it to me lol
Hey DJ I'm with you on this. I only like the Taiwan version as well and hope that these damages are only in a few of them and majority are in mint condition.
I also have a feeling that the imperfection they are speaking off is similar to the ones that are on the Tron Legacy Vivas from Australia. Where the paint is stretched on the corners so it looks like it's a scratch on the paint.

What seems to be the case with many copies of Tron over here is that corners don't tend to hold black or dark coloured paint very well. It goes on rather 'thin'. Being light(er) it tends to catch the light on certain angles and can look worse than what it really is. I personally wouldn't worry too much about it, but I think you'd have to see it in person to know whether it will bother you or not.

I replied their email and sent them message just the same like you do
But seems like my order already "shipped"
Only 20mins after I sent them payment for shipping cost and the status of my order change from "in processing" to "shipped" So, I assume that they don't replace my "missing paint" item.
I think maybe their email works like this :
They said to let them know if we want a replacement, but only if we already receive our item and if we are not satisfy with the condition then we can replace it with send it back to them.
I replied their email like this "Please replace my item with the prefect one before you ship it" but I think they already put my items in the box because yesterday my order status said "packaging", so it will take time and make them busy if they must open again the package and replace the non perfect item.
But for me the best part when I saw the picture the send me, I saw slip with Chinese writing on it
I'm quite surprised how fast this seems to have sold out, compared to some other TW steelbook/Viva box titles
Almost everywhere I normally purchase (JSDVD, Yesasia) have sold out during preorder
Guess the lack of a genuine steelbook have really pushed ppl to get this and the FS release
