So yeah, I was surprised their was no topic on this one ... it's the holy grail of all things SteelBook. (least, blu-ray steelbook that is.)

Its been sold for $500 and 300 euros just for the empty case alone. Super rare, thought to have been limited to only 2,000 copies.

It's also hard to serperate these prices from shill bidders. I think if HDN has it's own auctions, prices would vary drastically!

Bare in mind someone who actually wants this as well may be victim to shill bidders. e.g. they're willing to pay £400 but no-one else apart from shillers bid beyond, say £200. Just as an example.

Is it just expensive because of the steelbook itself or is there content on this disc which does not exist on the others.
Just seems like it's impossible to get the theatrical edition with it not being cut or the extended version where there are more cuts but other non violent content is added. Just wondered if this has all the missing scenes I'm hearing about.

I believe this is the full uncut version. It got pulled from sale once they realised which is why this is so desirable as well as the tattoo and steelbook obviously!

It's available in the first few Media Markt copies too, until they recalled it and replaced it with the cut version like it was supposed to be!!!

Yeah I know there were 2 versions of Rambo and the sticker differentiated the cut version from the uncut. I'm not sure if this has ever been released in a Amaray case though?

I think in Germany you can get the Uncut Version only over Austria and Switzerland. In Germany you only can get the Cut Version.
The Amazon Steel with Tattoo includes the Uncut Version and the few Media Markt Exclusive Steelbooks having the Uncut Version too if the green Recycling is on the Back of the Steelbook ;-)
