I never understood the reasoning behind this re-release apart from obvious reason of just cash grabbing. The initial releases are of premium quality. All you need to do is pop in a 4k disc and you have the best of both worlds.

Nova have gone down in my estimation with this tactic

I meant just in general, their steelbooks specifically always have very great treatment

Might even be nice if they pushed the coloured brushed metal effect a little more if you ask me, combo that with something different on Wick or the title and they might look quite slick

you know, it kinda makes sense to make streaky green lines streaky matte.. john wick himself isnt streaky, but high quality matte and the title is spot glossed

dont think this is in any way a cost cutting measure

but it doesnt look overly good tho, i agree
