Never been fan of the 1/4 slips at all. The full slips and lenti have much more to offer on these recent exclusives.

As a newer collector of these more unique, Asian releases, I have to ask: what's the appeal of the 1/4 slips? People seem to go crazy for them but like you, I find the full slip or lenticular more appealing. The John Wick 1/4 slip doesn't even appear to be individually numbered. So is it the rarity? The simple fact that there are so few available?

Personally I wanted one so I could see the SteelBook with it still on as I intend to display it front on.

Some collectors keep their Steelbooks sealed. So when displayed half steel and half slip cover. I can see the appeal, but the lenti is clearly the winner here. Although that fullslip is elegant looking.

Unless the lenti ends up looking flat, I will eat my own words. :D

To any collector who can successfully resist the temptation to open their steelbooks, I say, 'Bravo!' I do still have sealed ones, but when I stare too long, they tend to get opened. I can't stop myself :shy:

It's funny how differently we all collect. I still haven't opened any of my Nova steelbooks. In fact I've never opened any of my Asian steelbooks. Ever. Hasn't even crossed my mind (until now) to open any of them. There are so many good quality pics posted on here so I can always get my fix from those if I need to see what's inside.

You're not alone. I think there's a very good reason why there isn't a single unboxing of GOTG Nova. Keepin' it sealed, keepin' it real.

I opened GOTG Nova as did a lot of others we posted photos of them unsealed

All of my Nova steelbooks are opened to enjoy the steelbook and all its contents

Majority of people who purchase steelbooks open them not keep them sealed only a minority of collectors keep them sealed for whatever reasons they have and some I can understand why

As a film collector I spend my money to own and enjoy a steelbook by opening it fully

Yeah, I keep some sealed but my intrigue can get the best of me. Opening it gives me that high octane adrenaline junkie feel. :D

I've never ordered a foreign steelbook before, I've only collected UK Editions. How much altogether would it cost to buy this and ship it to the UK?
