Not a fan of this steel or either of the slips, to be honest. Underwhelming artwork for this price. Coin and card looks cool though.

Still like the front art but now i've seen the rear, not the best choice imo.
I would have gone with Ian McShane.
The type of image isn't quite the same style as John Wick either. Looks odd.

Lets be honest, this is pretty naff! If it weren't for the metal cards hardly anyone would probably want it.

What's the point of giving it a slipcover when it's covered in text and ratings logos.

Could they fit any more text on the spine of that slip if they tried?

They could be removable though. Like on steelbooks or Zavvi's old slipcover releases (No Country For Old Men etc....I think they had a j-card over the slip if I'm not mistaken)

EverythingBlu are a UK company and they don't print them directly on the slips......

This is the kind of film which dosen't deserve that kind of artwork, neither the slip case or the steel its self is good, it's too "arty farty" while it can work for some films it just doesn't do anything here and forgets to represent the epic action driven film that it is. If it was some kind of whacky, phscaledic drug infused comedy like film sure, nice work but it's not that at all.

I only really want it for the coin and metal lobby card but I'm sure you'll be able to find these things on ebay at some bought. I'm sorry but I just can't keep supporting crappy designs or else I'm not helping the overall issue.

Something like this should have been the slip case.

You know it's a real shame considering the coin and metal lobby card are a nice touch and more steelbooks should be giving us little goodies but when the main attraction is not doing a good job what's the point.

I thought the front art was pretty cool initially seeing it in another thread on its own but with the addition of the dog and slip... its all gone downhill.

So purely based on the opinions shared, as well as talk of a little hand... and likely people think somebody has now been sick on this... and possibly smells of sh*t (unconfirmed) ... not to mention the other slip that's even worse (good luck zavvi) ... so... you know what happens when there's talk of all that? You know what happens? Well do ya? I'll tell you what happens...

I agree with y'all.. the artwork on the steel isn't jawdropping or stunning but it's not that worse either (maybe the space dog kinda like.. )
I wished there wasn't that much orange on the slipcase too.. i would've love a gloss black or something similar.. I always wondered who took those kind of decision and who agreed to that ? why they don't do a quick poll on the net to see what the customers thinf about it before releasing it ?
but yeah i'm keeping it until the Nova release or another premium one

Well the studios decide. They are the copyright holders.
Nova can’t do whatever they like. Worst case scenario (for others that don’t like this) they need to use this artwork as well.
That’s also why you see all premium resellers using the same artwork for a release.

With that been said and for our sake, i think somebody from the premium releasers such as BF, Weet, Nova..etc shoud get in touch with the studio manager to discuss the artwork because when i see some artworks shared by some fellas here (talking to you @Noodles ) you just keep thinking why we don't have these as designers instead of those working in the studios..smh
