Xtra-vision IE and HMV IE are trying to get the DVD instead :p
It wouldn't surprise me.

I'm telling you guys, they will be gone this time next year.
Went into my local hybrid store a couple of days ago and the Blu Ray section is gone! GONE!

It wasn't big to begin with but now all they have is what's on the 'charts wall'. So your screwed if your looking for something older than 2 weeks!!

It's like they've given up already.

My HMV is enormous. Thousands of blurays. And they've just brought the vinyl section back. Can't see them going anywhere soon.

Hmv do have high street shops in Rep of Ireland

There is only a few of the Hmv only stores which stock a large range of stock and these mainly in the big Dublin Stores

The Setup in the Republic of Ireland is 2 ways
1)Hmv Store (6 Stores)
2)Xtra-vision/HMV Concession Stores (over 21 shops)

Xtra-vision is owned by the company Hilco Capital
I was this same company who took over Hmv in Ireland and the UK
So when they took over HMV in Ireland they decided to convert some of the Xtra-vision stores into HMV concession stores
These stores are a mix of Xtra-vision and HMV new releases but mostly these shops are geared towards the rental market and cheap back catalogue which some been second hand

The Main HMV Shops stock lot more than the HMV/Xtra-Vision concession stores
Some of the concessions shops are a joke as in mostly rental and second hand stock but you can find a good bargain and some good out of print releases on ocassions
Most of the stock in these concession stores are DVD with Blu-ray stock levels been ok to poor

My local Navan Xtra-vision/HMV store is not brilliant but better than some of the others

I still not had my debit card charged yet for Jurassic World
Something not right here as all my previous HMV pre orders my debit card was charged on the Wed/Thur and shipped mostly on the Thur
With my Debit Card I see straight away when a payment request is submitted to my bank from anyone it shows up as a pending transaction

Although its sad there is no debossing, im still very happy with the art for this. Some films are just perfect with a simple logo design on a steelbook, this is one of those films.

I agree it's nice in its own right, just that it isn't as nice as it could have been and lacking when compared to the first 3.

Just like Universal with their recent Fast & Furious steelbooks. Parts 1-6, bright colours, glossy with matching fronts, backs and spines. Part 7, black and white, matte with totally different design and spine*.

Still, could be worse like Back to the Future with zoomed-in poster art, huge titles and stupid silver edges.

*unless you got the MediaMarkt edition.

Still not dispatched for me. I could probably just walk in to my local HMV here tomorrow & pick it up but I chose to preorder on the site. Don't think I'll be doing that again, pretty disappointed with the service.

The lack of debossing is really disappointing, it would have been a perfect match for the Steelbooks released for the three previous films.

Not only this. Especially the misleading product description on the website and wrong information directly from their employee are disappointing.

Release Date
19/10/2015

When it's a Friday release date the release date would have been listed as 16/10/2015

It's possible that this release has a restriction of Monday release date for Ireland
Friday is the normal release date for new releases in Rep of Ireland
But sometimes film studios restrict a release to the Monday release the UK has

This would explain the delays in orders been shipped but payment taken a few days ago with UK customers who ordered from Xtra-vision and customers in Rep of Ireland not had payment taken yet

Rep of Ireland Customers
I expect debit cards will be charged Fri/Sat and despatched on Sat or Sun for Monday Delivery

Post sent within the republic to an address in Ireland is next day delivery
Despatched on Sat/Sun means delivery on Monday as we don't have postal delivery on Sat/Sun

Why would they despatch some UK orders then on the Wednesday before? Those buyers should have it tomorrow.

Not very strict there then.

Because our postal system shuts down on a Friday for the weekend, the Irish always suffer the consequences.

An Post Postal System still operate and process post on Fri/Sat/Sun but delivery to homes/business not until the Mon

I have had HMV Ireland orders despatched on the Sun and delivered on the Mon
I even ordered one item on a Sunday before and was shipped that day with delivery next day

Ireland to UK is on average 2-3 days delivery time so most will be delivered on Sat or Mon
U.K. just happen to have post delivered on Saturdays while Ireland don't

This has happened before with some releases a restriction of Monday release

Very easy to check if none of the HMV Ireland shops selling this tomorrow then it is a Mon restricted release if they have stock tomorrow then it was delivery delay of stock from UK to HMV Warehouse in Tallaght

Surely UK buyers aren't getting their copies shipped from Ireland to the UK though? Aren't they getting shipped from within the UK?

We get our stock from there to begin with?
