I received mine today, what a beauty it is, even better than I imagined. The glossy finish is totally awesome and the debossing as always is really cool. My only thought though is, why couldn't Universal give this treatment to Oblivion? The artwork on that was amazing and a glossy finish would have made it incredible. Nevermind. I look forward to future Universal releases now though and it looks like I will be pre-ordering from now on

Nothing odd about it, really, it's a manufacturing defect. Some piece of machinery is slightly out of whack at the Scanavo production line and suddenly we have plenty of damaged steelbooks.

This has happened before at least with Jack Reacher (UK release) and Foxy Brown. Possibly there are others as well.

Dang ... mine hasn't shipped yet. Hope there aren't any problems with my copy because returning it back to Germany would be a real pain in the:ass:
