So is it looking like the UK and German version going to be identical? I watched a video and I'm guessing they'll be the same

Having seen the film 12 times at the cinema with each screening being packed out it was anything but a fail. It worked to perfection and had the whole room in hysterics :)

Cinemas in the UK are rarely packed out these days other than on Orange Wednesdays so i call BS on it being rammed 12 out of 12 times... but 12 times?! WOW EEK! i guess any negative comments about the films will be shot down regardless so the argument is a bit pointless

some of the acting was terrible, especially by the mother fxxxxxr in the opening scenes. jim carey could have been put to greater use too.

its just a fun film

I found the first a Kick Ass movie decidedly average, aside from some amusing subversion of the comic book genre.
The second one was worse by a long shot, in my opinion.
I don't know what grated more, the overt Union J boy band promo or the infantile humour.

Then again I'm a 42 year old man and not a 12 year old boy, so I guess I'm not the target audience.
Still, that's no excuse for sloppy writing, is it?

Terrible Tesco.com situation. I have a 8 copies regullary pre-ordered with items avalaible in stock and now i know that they have no copies to ship to me!
WTF how this could be possible! and they offered to me 20£ refound...for 8 copies!

Who is in the same situation?

I thought the humour was a lot better than the humour we get these days in movies.

I hate the whole dry humour. It is used too much (The Office US, This is the End etc etc).

This was better humour in my opinion. I am 30.

i preordered this a while ago from wowhd because the price was good... now they arr not able to process the order. if they dont get enough stock to send out to all the people who ordered, its just another proof for me that wowhd are the worst of all retailers i ever dealt with (zavvi gets the job done well in comparison).

hopefully.

They havent sent mine yet either, I will have to go for the German one as well, by the look of it.

Joke of a company

They definitely could have done something better than the "sick stick". That was just cheap and childish.

3 days late and prime/parcelforce delivered it today. What a beauty it is, this type of finish is what I would expect on all new release movies in steelbooks.

On phone to tescos, they no longer have any! Am currently getting my money refunded, they offered me the basic amaray! Lol

I'm 39, and enjoyed the humour a great deal. Too many films are either very dry these days or out and out silly. It was nice to see a film that went for politically incorrect over the top gross out humour.

"The target audience for both Kick Ass films was 15 to 18, I wouldn't show this to a 12 year old"

lol I saw Pulp Fiction when first released more times than that, what can I say I go to the cinema A LOT! I find cinema's in Birmingham often dead except at weekends "I avoid Orange Weds" I generally use the cinema next to me in Solihull, and apart from Mon/Tue it is usually very busy and often sold out :)

saw this in HMV today. £21.00.. or was it £22? daylight robbery.

what is the justification for such a steep price? seems to be nothing but a 'collectors tax'

this steel is worth £14 tops, so thats £7 in collectors tax they just slapped on top because collectors will pay

Where are there any new release steelbooks being sold for £14

This is one good looking steel imo, so I'm glad I got this one :oohyeah:
