I am completely lost why it flopped in the box office.
I honestly thought it was a great popcorn movie and this is coming from someone who watched GotG the previous week. I was thoroughly engaged throughout the 120mins. I personally don't have an issue with the cast being several from GoT, in fact it's amazing that they are in a different universe, but bringing the same grit. Charlie was decent for the role. Jude Law made me respect the villain. Movie pace was fine. All action scenes and cgi were well done specially the final boss fight.
So what the eff?
I wish more people will see it and don't be swayed by the ridiculous critics labeling this movie an epic flop. I'd rather see more sequel for this than another XXX, Fifty Shades and even FF8 because apparently, King Arthur was set the stage for 6 potential sequels and spinoffs.

@Dan I posted my spoiler-free thoughts here. Personally I couldn't care less what critics pro or otherwise say. I watch the movie for me, and then I make my own opinion. 
Here's hoping it'll be picked up for a nice exclusive by one of my favorite retailers.
I liked GOTG and F8 but I can't be bothered to watch sthg like 50 shades unless I run out of things to watch. Don't tell @Actarus

It wasn't my choice to watch those 3 movies that I have mentioned. They were all my girlfriend movie demands. Sadly, I can't be the one picking the movie all the time.

My preferred artwork for the front cover would be this King playing card style . . . mainly because it's a bit different . . . although expect them to go with something predictable like this:-
