Impossible to know before release&someone tries it... but as @psychoscot said:

Definitely agree. With Fox I would err on the side that it most likely will be as most Fox titles especially new titles are. I think it depends on who they are partnered with as well, in the recent case of X-Men DOFP it wasn't as Marvel don't support region locking and most of the versions worldwide were all region ABC. This being a straight Fox title as far as I know will mean that unfortunately theres a good chance this will be "A". Still since it's being released both in the US/Canada and Europe in very similar versions everyone should be happy.

The steel looks nice on bare metal, I like it looks Classier, but since I bought the FA version, trying to save some money for other movies but it looks so good and classy looking. I love the minimalistic aspect of the design, but what has kinda made my decision, even though different finish and might look nicer/classier that the one on Black colored steel, it is the same exact artwork...if at least it would have been different artwork it would have made me jump into this release as well..

But will the Steel WWA used for the FA release will also be region B locked ? I ask as I am not one to open my steel and don't mind about region locking too much, but still would like your opinion of this.

I edited the OP a bit. The part that is special is Fox in "North America" hardly EVER do special packaging and of course started much more of that last year. But even bigger that we haven't seen a "Fox SteelBook in NA" for yearsssss. So this is big in that it also means it opens doors for future. So we can hopefully see some iconic Fox titles in SteelBook.

The more companies make steelbooks for the collector, the more our hobby will stay strong and alive and vibrant with lots of new releases. If a big Player like Fox rarely do Steel releases and now seem to be entering the game or testing the water then I would agree with @Drum18 this can be big !

Yep I would say theres a 90% chance that the FA version will be region "B"
