ugggghhhhh bought the MGS HD collection steel ... dude sends in a bubble mailer .... no extra protection or nothing .... I thought it made it ok ... then i noticed damage on top. :( very small, gotta see if I can fix or not. Man, this sucks.

after close inspection .... much worse then I thought .... oh and ebay seller doesnt do refunds .... pfft, we'll see where this goes.

When you buy something, you have Ebay Buyer Protection. if he doesn't want to help you out, send a query to the people at ebay and they'll sort it out. 'No refunds' is ridiculous to follow wholeheartedly, because people have to be willing to be flexible to get good feedback. 'No refunds' is mostly just to make sure that when people get something, that they can't suddenly go' wait, I don't want this afterall!' and get their money back.

If when you get the product you paid for, you feel it is in unsatisfactory conditions, just tell him so! there's nothing wrong with that. it's his (or hers!)responsibility to package it well so it reduces the chances of it getting damaged during shipping.

Exactly. I'm not amazon or eBay, but I feel it's my duty to send what people buy from me in the exact condition that was described to them. And I get paypal gift payments! It's also a matter of how the person is, but like Liad said, if he didn't package properly, knowing it's a fragile item, it's his responsability. You should at least get a replacement.

Yeah, you bought an item described probably as brand new/sealed or sealed/mint or mint or something. When the item doesn't arrive as described it doesn't matter if the seller says no refunds. It's basically the same as sending you a different item because the item you received no longer matches the item description.

When it comes to "Bad Company" go for the France one .... looks better than the UK or AU with their ratings logos.

Good to know, thanks :)

I want that Black Ops too, and Devil May Cry US. There was a mint DmC on eBay earlier for $39.99 but the seller only shipped in USA, and well, I have to keep my paypal money for shipping the copies from 2 group buys, and I'm running short on cash (just paid a shitload of money for 16 PS3 steelbooks from Australia). Bad timing I guess :(

So i bought a few steelbooks over past couple weeks and been waiting for them to come in. Got a pretty beat up box from France but they packed it so well with bubble wrap and news paper that no damage was done to my SSX, Fifa Street, Two Female Shep ME3. All arrived in great condition. Also got Dead rising 2 steelbook for 10 bucks on ebay and they sent in nice little box! Then i had these come in.. both from ebay and in Envolopes....

Darkness II steelbook if you cant reconize it, Hong Kong version with game.

Now mario is sending a new steel for me and says if i am still unhappy he will send another but this time hes packing better. I dont think it was his fault, came in TWO bubble wrap envolopes and i didnt notice damage till i took plastic off, was at bottom of steelbook. Looks like damage happened at factory cause there was ZERO damage to packaging and a dent at BOTTOM of steelbook would of had to been a very presice hit with something small and VERY hard, as the steel is very strong in that area. So i cant really blame him. And hes offering to fix it.

Pic really dont show just how smooshed in front is like it was punched.

This guy just cant believe he got damaged and said .. well it was bubbled wrapped. Yes, the small envolope does indeed have a THIN linning of bubble wrap. Looks like someone dropped something on it or punched it. No damaged to package he says, how could that happen. DUH, its paper, i can punch that and leave no damage to packaging but destroy inside no prop. I sent pics and no reply back in over 24 hours. I dont know what to do. He has that NO RETURN thing listed too.. but if it comes damaged, shoudlnt i get refund if i complain to Ebay? It is not a buisness, was his own collection so no way to send another. I believe its his own fault for sending in PAPER envolope!

Two steelbooks damaged back to back days. Now i gotta worry if my Devil may cry and Raccoon City steels that are still on way, gonna be damaged? PFttt.. From now on ill message ppl and they either send in box or no deal... this is retarded.

Open a case with eBay if you are not happy.

For those buying steelbook on eBay, my advice is ALWAYS send the seller a message and ask if the seller is going to ship it with cardboard box. If seller said no, then stay away. I never bid on a auction if the seller does not wish to send it in a cardboard box. Too much headache and time wasted in dealing with dispute.

EBay should look into it if you open a dispute. If the item does not arrive in the condition that was stated in the auction then you should have no problem winning the dispute.
