I think that is really bad news if play is closing as they have produced some superb Steelbooks for us in the UK and will be sadly missed!!!

It also makes the Steelbooks we have from them even more valuable if they are closing down for good!!!!

That would be the absolute worst possible outcome. 50% off my steelbook collection.

Titles that totally sold out wont show up elsewhere unless that other retailer orders an exact reprint. However to do so means they commit to at least 4k ... that's not happening. Things that didnt sell out can turn up elsewhere ...

in the case of Lawless, it will sell out and its a bit more safe from a reprint as it cost more to produce given the premium finishes.

This will be the last steelbook that play release exclusively.

I would imagine HMV and Amazon will still do so.

Can't really chat about it here tho.. It's to be kept to the thread discussing the closure

I'll say this AHEAD of time ... this way people dont think there are stock conspiracies. This will be turned off soon, and then will get turned back on again after stuff starts shipping etc and they can better gauge things.

It is however close to selling out ... so when it comes back, it probably wont last long.
