New York (U.S.A. - New York) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 08:00:00 EDT UTC-4 hours

Corresponding UTC (GMT) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 12:00:00

-1x copy per slipcover (2x copies for slipcover was sold out too fast like 7 min, That's why kimchi put more restriction for quarter slip release)
-5x copies per lenticular

here is technical problem solved so far

after you pay via paypal, you will automatically return to main page of kimchidvd and you can go to order page to check if your order is completed.

(previous kimchi, does not provide automatic payment completed by paypal, only kimchi handle one by one to complete order by manually matched with paypal transaction. it's kind of big burden and many problem happened)

and another announcement for shipping

Small packet is removed, K-packet applied for all of item sold in kimchidvd
K-packet is slightly expensive than small packet but there is lots of benefits

- Printed slip with tracking number
- End-to-End tracking with delivery confirmation (No lost shipment)
- Reasonable cost than EMS
- generally takes 5-15 days (EMS: 5-10 days, Small packet 15 -35 days)

but some member are curious why kimchidvd changed shipping method

From T2 kimchi release, Kimchi handled more than 1,000 box to ship out to post office KR, this is a big volume of post office KR to handle only for one store.

so post office does not allow kimchi to accept small packet any more :(
and asked kimchi to change K-packet rather than small packet due to too many package in one or two day.

after changed of k-packet, pack & shipping process is much more faster than small packet and very reliable shipping method in terms of tracking.

even now, some of member did not received T2 kimchi after shipping process done at 26th June because no tracking available for small packet.

1 or 2 steelbook for shipping charge between small packet & k-packet is only difference around 2$

please kindly understand kr post office policy for massive volume of shipment like over 1,000 boxes and more powerful tracking for lost shipment protection.

Thanks

Got exactly the same email from Tony and for sure the Paypal payment went thru, as it was charged against my credit I still had in the account.

Not sure what is wrong, it says clearly a successful payment.

I just got an email from kimchi saying your order has not completed. And we are going to cancel and delete. I checked my Paypal account and payment has been received and gone through. Can anyone shed some light on this.

I just got the same email, and clearly payment from my PayPal account has cleared and been sent to Kimchi.

BiscuitNoir, you better check what is going on with Choi, because I think their system is freaking out.

B.

I have the same issue - email from Kimchi stating they are going to cancel but Paypal shows both orders as completed?!?!

Not happy - hope this gets sorted quickly

Well everyone who's Paypal was charged should be ok as payment has been sent to kimchi. They have already gotten paid for this order.

Yeah I agree. I just find it weird that the email states "The payment is not completed‏" when in fact my Paypal account shows it did. Also my Order Status shows "Receipt of Order". So I really dont know whats going on with them.

Hey guys-the 'order not completed' may be a message that Kimchi's order system itself generates, independently of the Paypal status. Tony has been very generous with info thus far, so hopefully there is no reason to believe that this won't get sorted out, too. Good luck all.

I bought one of each steelbook at 1am UK time, via paypal.just checked my account and says 'payment completed'.strange how others are having paypal issues with kimchidvd

Mine still says "Receipt of Order" and the payment went all thru.

Sent the email screenshot to Tony and hope he'll sort it out

Has everyone who is getting the new email already received order information email from Kimichi?

I've got an email from PayPal at 1.05 am saying payment sent & the order information from Kimichi at 5.45am so I thought I was all done but I'm now worried ill get the same email as everyone else

I'm sorry but I politely disagree. If checking the site just a few hours after it went live isn't early enough because I couldn't stay up due to an early start, then I guess I am a customer who doesn't deserve being rewarded. I think $41.99 is already a high price, so suggesting Kimchi are doing collectors a favour at that price is a bit of a joke.

It's quite clear to me that Kimchi are more concerned about profit than collectors. Picking a grail title, limiting it to a small number of copies and then allowing customers to order eight copies at a time. Sounds like a scalpers dream to me.

You mean to tell me that a business is in it to make a profit? Who woulda thought? God forbid that they make some good coin for their labor. The high price is justified because of the low quantity. Nothing wrong with that. Most collectible things are based on this model. What's all this crying about scalpers buying up all these copies? It says clearly (in red) that it is 2 copies per customer. I should know, because I managed to get 2 copies of the 1/4 slip version. I don't know where all these other bloated numbers are coming from. As for the time of this release, all I can say is there's some winners, and some losers. It was released at 6 PM where I reside, so I have no complaints. You can't please everyone. Blame the Earths rotation if you have a problem with this. As for all these weird messages about order not processed, all I can say is my status says "payment complete". So if yours don't say that, there might be a bit of problem for you. looks like I get the job of defending Kimchi in this thread lol. A bit of a role reversal it would seem.

A HDN friend told me that he tried to order 3 copies of the quarter slip but could not. So he ordered 2. I guess it is true that there was a limit of 2 copies on the quarter slip. Not sure about the lenticular.

There's a limit of two per order. So that's two of one release, or one of each release.
