This steelbook wave is a nostalgia injection!!! This movie has the scariest Devil ever made. Along with Goonies, Gremlins and The Neverending Story, it was one of the first films I remember watching in the movies. Good times!!!!

I know you really like Darkness, Geek, I have seen your bust which is very cool but the mock up looks like it's made by someone who really loves Darkness and the emphasis on good vs. evil/light vs. dark is lost.
It looks like a quite nice evil themed steel but with a random and out of place uinicorn horn.

God I love this film. I already own the US and the UK discs, but I'll still be getting this as it deserves special packaging. And I've never seen that art before. Can't wait.

I suppose I could appreciate the cover if the inside art weren't so sad...why a solo shot of Tom Cruise without the princess or Satan? And yes, while the inverted image on the back cover was an interesting idea, it falls flat here.

I really don't know they list for such a high price initially. They would probably get more sales if they list for a great price and capitalised on any hype surrounding the release. By the time these titles drop to a reasonable price, most collectors will probably have forgotten about them.
