Seems like ages ago since this was announced and was really looking forward to this one.

They really listened to feedback from members on here with tweaks here and there but that lettering in the background just killed it for me.

The letters on the back should stay. Looks fantastic. The background "LEON" on the front should probably be taken off. Doesn't go well with the cover and is more distracting than cool.

btw... it's not a "Zavvi" version. It's a UK version.

Even if it does have the lettering I will be getting this one, because it will probably have a really nice slip on it, and I won't be opening it anyway, seeing how I bought this on blu ray here for $5.00..

Yeah the letters in the background needs to be removed. Doesnt add anything to the design and looks like forced "creativity".

Yeah the lettering in the background doesn't work. Not sure what effect they we're going for. But pretty disappointed at the final result if in fact this design holds up.

I don't know why Kimchi had to mess around with it. It looked superb, now they've ruined it with that sodding background shite. Ever heard that expression "If it ain't broken, don't try to fix it"

I have to agree too, the back is not clear anymore and doesn't push up the look of the steelbook

white was fine, no lettering

and add french subs to the process haha

Too bad they decided to go with this lettering in the background, IMO it kinda ruined what could have been an awesome release. Artwork candidate 2 was better.

So glad Matilda is on the steelbook! I like this steelbook a lot better than the Zavvi one. Zavvi's version makes the movie look like a cheap cliché movie, with no depth.
Better save up some money, so I can buy this steelbook...
