So apart from numbered card this looks exactly the same as kimchi version , even has the clear slip and full slip. :wtf:

you guys shouldn't be shocked. Not the first time a Kimchi steelbook has received a general release in Korea.

not shocked bud. just a little "disappointed". that's all.

it was not disclosed that this had a shared release. it was marketed as limited to 2K (1500+500) as Kimchi exclusive, even designed by KimchiDVD. HDN even voted on the steelbook and influenced the design. When you buy a steelbook knowing the print run and exclusivity and rarity of it, it is a bit of a letdown if all that changes without notice or explanation.

am I not correct here?

I'd guess the explanation is that you've got a WEA steelbook and a minimum print run. Yeah, it does kind of "suck" the steel isn't limited to 2k, but at least all the copies are retailed in Korea.

Plus the previous kimchi releases had extra stuff like terminator 2. This general release seems identical with all the goodies included with free shipping and no customs!! Very disappointed kimchi.:angry::(

I totally understand the frustration & disappointment but I wouldn't lose sleep over it guys, at least those who got the quarter slip are on the safe side as that now look more like limited & can be classified as a KimchiDVD exclusive, it's all good though!

the only thing different between the T2 Exclusive and the general release were the art cards....

The listing has been up for some time even when the Kimchi Exclusives where in stock.

I know and I remember questioning it then too... but there is still no explanation as to how this happened. This is the edition that KimchiDVD created. This is the steelbook that we voted on here at HDN. It was marketed as exclusive only to Kimchi with a limited print run. Those are very important details when you consider what people paid to get this release with shipping and customs expenses and everything. It's just frustrating to see the same exact thing just without a numbered card being offered by another retailer.

I am as big of a fan and cheerleader for Kimchi as anyone on this forum, but I mean cmon, seriously... :wtf:

I had/have problems with my order at Kimchi (still Receipt of Order and both slips are OOS now). I think my order won't be shipped...

So I decided to order the non-exclusive version. It's the same edition except the numbered card :D

Well at least there WAS a difference! I'm sorry but this is just ridiculous that people have paid in excess of $20 more when you factor in ems and customs for kimchi release when this is identical. In addition to kimchi "exclusive" sticker there should have been an additional sticker on it saying "SUCKERS"!!!!!!!!!!!!:ass::ass:
