It started snowing PROPERLY for the first time this year(I live in Bucks, UK) and it hasn't stopped since 6 hours ago:

I work from home, so I dont mind the snow..But, if school gets cancelled, I have all 3 kids at home with me,LOL

I used to love snow, but now I can't stand it because when ever it snows I have to work and those could be some really really long hours. All you guys in the UK is snow a normal occurrence for you guys because I got the impression you don;t get a lot of the stuff and when you do everything is a mess.

We mainly get snow in Jan but it can happen in Dec or Feb as well

'not the right kind of snow'
'too many leaves on the tracks'
'didn't have enough salt/grit for the roads'

They're the kind of things we get told when the UK buckles under snow/rain/wind
