Yet another plain black artwork with just a title... LAZY DESIGNERS!

I would have expected a SteelBook to have had the whole series of films included, or a run of matching SteelBooks at a budget price like Mission Impossible, Batman, or the Alien series. I'm afraid it's the same issue with Beverly Hills Cop, Highlander, and RoboCop, where we only get the first entry in a series and have to buy the subsequent films as separate Amaray editions. I'm convinced that people who work for these companies are retards.

I take it there is no design department anymore? Or only one person is in it and he's a chimp? They could have done so much with these. I was expecting lazy, but I was I expecting the old dvd/blu ray covers and that would make the four films easy and each different. I'l have to think about this now and I love the quadrilogy.

Every bloody time

Crap/Average films are given fantastic artwork...yet old time highly rated classics like this are given boring artwork like Scream, The Graduate, The Rock, Armageddon or Sin City.

Into the Storm and Hercules have better artwork, let that sink in for a minute.

I know, I know it's different studios and manufacturers but Lethal Weapon should of been picked up by the Entertainment Store.

You nearly had my money at "Lethal Weapon Steelbook". But after the artwork reveal, I think I'll stick to my box set. Maybe if it goes to under £10. Maybe.

This needed to be something special to justify a purchase with the amaray edition and complete boxset being so cheap. I think it's safe to say Warner have completely failed.

What difference would that have made?

There's no way whatsoever that Zavvi will change the artwork for this due to unpopular demand, no??! It's a shame, was looking forward to this release as I'm sure many more of you were but they seem to have messed this up big style...

I must protest most strongly at your singling out Arthur the senior art editor at Warner Brothers.

He is an exceedingly well-mannered chimp and will work dilligently all day with his crayons and pad for just a handful of bananas and a pat on the head :)

Hang your head in shame :naughty: ;)

Urm...a lot

ES have done some fantastic steelbooks mainly because the artwork is pretty great but unfortunately their recent line up have been crap/average films.

Hercules, Need for Speed, Transformers (when there's already one coming out)

So you think this would have had better artwork if this had been an Entertainment Store exclusive? I think that's unlikely. The last time Entertainment Store released titles from Warner's back catalogue, we got Corpse Bride and True Romance which aren't great Steelbooks by any means, especially the latter which is actually pretty awful.

I disagree, most of their Steelbooks have been great and the Corpse Bride was pretty decent.

In the end they would of easily made something better then this.
