essentially they are exactly the same. I got the Taiwan version from JSDVD and got it the same week i ordered it, it was also extremely well packed.

On YesAsia, it actually says the HK version is out of print on the HK steelbook page (check out the Other Versions section - it says Out of Print for the HK version). Maybe confusion between the two versions?

As far as the steelbooks and the disks themselves, in comparing the technical information of both versions, they look to be almost identical except for the additional Portugese language in the HK version (probably due to Macau).
