Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

People should just be aware of 2 things:

1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund

2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

If it is true, i cant imagine its hard to get the artwork from the inside of the FS steel in this. Due to the design you probably wouldnt need to touch the spine (i certainly wouldnt!) and is nice and simple

that really isn't that surprising considering a lot of hmv's steels don't have inside art, still getting it though as anything beats a amaray case

This could still be like the Drive HMV exclusive and pull it off with front and back art alone. Well.... that's what I'm hoping anyway! I'm still getting all 3 releases regardless as I'm personally a huge fan of this film

As it stands right now I think I might do the same get all 3 and decide which two I like the best and get rid of one of em'. Big fan of this movie myself

I cannot believe this! I only just preordered this steel as I thought the company had a better chance after play decided to withdraw from the market. Do you think this steel has already gone to print? Will HMV honour their preorders? Will Looper get sold onto another site? Too many questions!

I reckon a few of their exclusives would already have been printed, so every chance another retailer(s) could release them depending on what the studios decide I guess.

I would've thought these would be printed (or at least partially manufactured) but it all depends on whether or not HMV have paid their bills! Hadn't realised how close we were to release...

Well the stock would technically belong to the studio until payment. And the studio would have the contract with Scanavo to print their artwork. So as long as it hasn't been shipped to HMV it could appear elsewhere (maybe). Even in administration a retailer can sell stock off supervised, so HMV may yet ship if they have already had the stock

Just gonna have to wait patiently

This one is going trade wide now, so you should be able to pick it up from most online retailers. I'm unsure if play will be stocking it before retail goes, i'll let you all know as soon as I hear anything.
