Think that is the way to go with this one. Only problem now is where is the Asian release???
I wish I could but I have to allocate some money for new releases and I'm sure they are some must haves this year like the man of steel and iron man 3.
So, what are collectors general consensus with opening this bluray? Open it and remove the magnet, or keep it sealed and hope for no damage in the future?
received mine today. Once you're able to center the magnet, the steel looks great, imo. So good in fact I decided to open my copy, but I wish I hadn't. I discovered that a corner is nudged and there are scratches all over the back.
I feel ya' happened to me on past releases. I decided to keep this sealed mainly because of no deep deboss inlet like the German ones. Tho after reading ocielz post its making me want to open to watch the movie haha. I'm trying to resist tho and just watch it by other means.

My copy has a nudge mark so i decided to look at photos in the thread to see if anyone else had this. Here is a pic of Blayze's photo. It's in the bottom left corner, front/back. Is this what you're talking about? I can't tell if that is a defect or damage from shipping from Futureshop. Also got a small scratch on mine but on the front cover. Oh well.

I asked Nick to open mine before shipping to check for any damage. I don't see anything but a clean steel.

Open and just stick the magnet on the inside
are the magnet not going to cause any damages to the disc? might be a silly question, but I'm not sure it's a good idea keeping a magnet that close to a Blu-ray disc for years.

Your thinking of the VHS days where a magnet could magnetically wipe the tape. With optical media magnets won't harm them. You should have no worries placing a magnet on or even close to the disc.
