This latest pictures of this figure are very bad, it's really concerning that they are advertising something and then lowering their standards. However, they are still shots so the final version could be good.

This is what a typical lighted saber looks like. It only lights at the base not extending to the end.

Here's a customized saber using a piece of cold cathode that I found.

There are instructions on how to make one but its on another forum and I'm not suppose to link to another forum.

yeah I've been reading about it, I am not very good with these type of projects. Looks like a cold cathode would be the key here since it will diminish the heat that comes from using LEDs and what not. But damn that picture I posted is bad ass!
