All this talk about "3D" or no "3D" on the cover, but nobody mentions the horrible print job on this?

From the unboxing video it's pretty obvious that they printed it on bare metal without a ground color and it looks terrible, especially for a 30€ release.

Here's a quick comparison between the DE, US and AU futurepack versions:

Obviously not the same lighting conditions, but you can clearly see where the problem lies.

Looks good :p hmmm the German Steelbook has cool disc art US disc is black with the title on it hmmmmmm

@Slinchafi where did you get the unboxing video of the german one?
And are you saying that all three are bad, or the AU futurepack is the best one? I can't find anytging about the AU futurepack...

It's here: link

To me the German (and probably all EU, I'm guessing they'll all be from the same print run) looks far worse than the other ones. The US/CA/MX release is much better color-wise, and the colors on the AUS futurepak are incredible, but unfortunately I really dislike spines on those, so I'll just go with the US version.

That german steel looks horrible in comparison. Same art as the JB futurpak without gloss. What were they thinking? The Best Buy one looks amazing with the matte finish.

I don't see an horrible steelbook for the german ! Warner just chose to make metalic reflect (in the sky for exemple) but not on the characters. For me, it's better than the US steelbook (for the finitish, not for the 3D logo!). The US steelbook is a basic mat finish, without any effect.

I hope you're right. But in my opinion, the bestbuy steel looks amazing with matte finish. But there is only this unboxing video for the German release so far afaik:
I wait and see.

I'll be an unhappy camper then. False advertising is not cool...
But, I guess I could live with it, as I will be waiting for the inevitable version from FA or Blufans or HD zeta.
It's annoying because it is not what they advertised. But you can never be 100% sure about these type of things until actual pics start to surface.

Also, you could've picked up this exact same steelbook around Europe much cheaper :(

At least it's got the exclusive slip though.
