I couldn't justify doing that. My time is limited. It's why I miss out on so many releases. I couldn't possibly have 100's of releases on pre-order, just in case a handful were good enough to own. I would forget and quickly have my house re-possessed.

I keep a running excel spreadsheet of my pre-orders and approx release dates to help me keep track of things. ;)

Lol @ the house re-possessed remark. :hilarious:

The economy here is still stretched (Britain). Literally, 3 quarters of my wage goes on my house, the rest food and I normally have enough spare cash for 1 - 2 films a month. A pay rise is long over due!

I personally think it has gone out of stock just in time before pinocchio becomes available, so as to not encourage 15% discount on maleficient.

They choose which Disney's to attach the discount to anyway, so wouldn't put the 15% on Maleficient, just like they didn't put it on Alice in Wonderland when the other new pre-orders became live.

Just seen this on the big screen and, I must say, it's a really good movie, thoroughly enjoyed it and I think the art sits well with the film.

Empire have only given this 2 stars. Cancelled.

I never go by any reviews of a film the review that counts is my review not what others think

I have films in my collection that have low reviews but I love a lot
I also have films that got brilliant reviews but to me were not great

Best way to judge any movie is watch it and if you like it buy it and if you don't like it then you saved some money

Just watched this today. Had really low expectations because of the reviews around, but I found it to be pretty good. Angelina owns the role. Glad I pre-ordered. :)

I sure hope they get this one right. I want that white to be brilliant white and super high gloss. Could be one of the best steelbooks this year. Would make the White Japan wave look like child's play.

Agree! I also don't want to see any embossing or border. Want it similar to Kick Ass 2, totally flat and high gloss!

Empire have only given oxygen 3 stars. Dead.

Whilst I agree with not wanting embossing on this one you must understand that you can't have embossing or border...they are one single thing. The border is a side effect of the embossing press.

And definitely don't trust Empire, a magazine that thinks one of the Star wars films is the best film ever made, and who lack originality so much their top 10 was pretty much a retread of the imdb top 10.

Weeeell... to be technically correct, while you can't have embossing without a border, you can have a border without embossing. This is sometimes done in conjunction with less-than-full-face lenticular cards.
