I can only assume people who like the White background haven't seen Engelskind's PERFECT fan art mock-up. So here it is again:

In my opinion, this is too amazing to not be the artwork and craps all over the boring artwork which has been listed.

I think fans being charged the premium £25 price deserve premium artwork, and for me Engelskind has nailed it and no other artwork should be considered!

EDIT: I seriously think we need to have a poll on this and feed the results back to Disney - it can't hurt to try, and surely everyone would prefer an amazing piece of artwork to a "white background with character" :dunno:

Just a little bump for this FAR superior artwork from Engelskind! :scat:

This artwork is so good that it makes the Zavvi proposed artwork look like Zach Galifianakis' ball sack...

Empire have only given oxygen 3 stars. Dead.

Whilst I agree with not wanting embossing on this one you must understand that you can't have embossing or border...they are one single thing. The border is a side effect of the embossing press.

Empire gave Taken 1 star.

Yes I know embossed = border! Hence why I don't want embossing!

you said embossing or border

also what has taken got to do with this? oxygen isn't a film yknow it was a joke...

I agree. The artwork with added scene and color does look better.

you haven't seen the back yet. Also, you would want that background aswell as the background placed in Maleficent's silhouette? that'd be far too busy...

I wouldn't mind a border and embossed title to be honest as long as the image was cropped correctly so the text fitted within it i.e. it's not another Kimchi Terminator 2.

I don't want to seem pessimist but the production company doesn't seem to listen to any of our comments, I am wondering why people are still giving their opinion on what they would like or not, at the end of the day they really don't give a CRA& and they will release it with the restrictions that they have been put upon them.

Never stop voicing your opinion on the steelbooks. We have more value than it seems on the output of final products. HDN is the steebook center of the world. They most likely do have people reading our opinions. We've actually had steelbooks changed to due to our voice in the specific threads(Wreck-it-Ralph Zavvi for example). When we all have one cohesive voice, we can do things. We would have the most cost efficient steels possible (bare metal, matte, one disc, no interior art, printed banners and logos and data backs) for premium prices shipped in bubble mailers if we stayed quiet.

Most of this is true, but keep in mind that Disney is one cocky b#st#rd.

They do things "their" way whether the customer likes it or not.

Cause it will sell anyways, it's Disney and they know it.

Disney may be tough but not unbreakable. My main example was a disney title lol. I also bet we had a say with them providing 3D discs when available with the more recent releases. Just need to get them to give us the bonus discs now.

i know WIR comes from Disney and Brave from pixar but story line and everything about this films suggest me it should be other way around :WIR =pixar and Brave from Disney .

I never go by any reviews of a film the review that counts is my review not what others think

I have films in my collection that have low reviews but I love a lot
I also have films that got brilliant reviews but to me were not great

Best way to judge any movie is watch it and if you like it buy it and if you don't like it then you saved some money

Yup, valid points and to a certain point i agree, but i find Empire to be a pretty good barometer for my personal tastes.

That's fair enough but I would hesitate before accepting the opinion of only one person even if they are a renowned film critic.

I prefer to go by imdb because although it's full of kiddies, the fanboys and the haters tend to cancel each other out when they dish out their 1/10 and 10/10 and the in betweeners give a more valid opinion - it scores 7.5 on imdb which is pretty good considering over 13.000 people have left their score.
