Maybe its because you from UK and my order from Germany!? I don't know. First SB they canceled with Paypal Payment was the Army of Darkness SB and after this 3 more. Ive emailed them a thousand times and they only answered they cant change the payment option on orders and i must re-order the SB, yeah I re-order a sold out SB

Not sure how much I paid on the GB because I missed this on the Zavvi Site, but I know it was more than £28

However, I dont mind that as this may not have popped up and I guaranteed myself a copy.

Whats miffed me is that this has been out of stock for *so* long - yet they have sold 48 on eBay already - and still have 763 in stock (according to that listing).

4,000 copies from the off... Yet 811 (assumed 'cancelled' orders) go off to eBay for a premium/price increase?

Im annoyed that most of these Steels are 'Zavvi Exclusives' as they'd never get my business with practices like this.

I've emailed them to ask exactly why it is that this steelbook is clearly not OOS as it's on the ebay outlet, but Zavvi customers who don't use or can't use ebay haven't been given the opportunity to continue to pre-order. I worded it far more strongly than that though as its really rather annoyed me ha! I'll see what sort of response I get. I really want this steelbook but I don't use ebay anymore as somebody hacked my account so I lost all trust in it.

as memory serves didn't zavvi play this game before and some of the staff from hdn had a word with zavvi to let them know that people here where not happy with that happening and the net result was zavvi promised that would not happen again it would leave all remaining stock (cancellations) to be put back up. and from that i mean units that where pre-order and not on general sale after release, after that they could do what they wish. so if i'm remembering correct zavvi are going back on there word/an agreement?

It is 2014 and it shouldn't take more than few minutes to do this.

it makes me laugh when people try to say that these argument about zavvi are not relevent to the discussion about the steelbook, when the steelbook is being offered exclusively bby zavvi. so they are both one and the same,so if there is a problem, how can we not mention zavvi.

it seems comments are only banished out of sight when they are critical of zavvi, nobody gets their comments removed for praising zavvi. funny that

There IS! In the retailer thread. BUT with NO ONE having ANY idea what's going on (especially Zavvi) it leaves us little else to talk about. Everything will be right as rain very shortly though, I can see a few members standing by their mailboxes waiting for the mailman now. lol!

I quite like this theory, Zavvi didn't revel the Artwork as the finish is Silver and they knew people would cancel...Plus they off load to eBay in the hope of selling out

Companies quite often put moratoriums on information or images until a certain date, so it is possible - all be it very frustrating.

I'm really keeping my fingers crossed this has been done right, and the SB is as per the mock up, however there's this little niggling voice at the back of my brain whispering "It's Zavvi, It's Zavvi".

Time will tell.

I'm sure at least one person will have this in hand tomorrow and can reveal all Although sod's law it'll probably be the sort of person who won't open it so we still won't know the the inside and rear art are!
