I agree. I think Wal-mart's idea of exclusive packaging will be the cover artwork and/or a slipcover.

Wal mart has sold plenty of steelbooks, if it was im sure theyd have marked it accordingly as it is available for pre-order. Walmart gets lots of exclusives slips and this is just another one. Cool slip tho

edit: hopefully im wrong on this as i will gladly eat crow if this is a steelbook. Be a great us release for a us movie

Nothing special about the artwork in the pic. On a sidenote - just came back from watching the movie. Pretty good.. TONS of action, good acting and effects are fantastic. It feels too much like Nolans Batman Begins thou. (Not that thats a bad thing, just an observation) My only problem is the movie had too much of Superman, and not enough of Clark Kent... Still enjoyed it and would give the flick a 8/10

I doubt this is a steelbook, but there will probably be plenty of countries releasing this film on steelbook. I saw this opening night (bought the Wal-Mart early showing), and I really enjoyed it. I've never been a fan of superman as a character, but this film was really well done and well acted.

Is that like "Do or do not, there is no try"? I would be more than happy if there was a U.S. steelbook for Man of Steel. And I guess it would definitely make sense for Wal-Mart to have the exclusive for it since they have a deal with the movie.

That exclusive magnet looks like it might fit the front of a nice steelbook. Maybe the first piece to the puzzle? I'd be grabbing one if they were in Canada walmarts,.. haven't seen any yet here...
