@C.C. 95 haha that's outstanding work.

I'm sure Hi-Def-Biff.com would be a right laugh.
@Driver
This is hilarious...Yigo in Guam pulled his sale of DVDPrime Melancholia on ebay because of an 'error in the listing'.
He has now reposted it. Apparently, the error was he wanted the starting bid to be $375 and not $200!!!
An almost 100% increase. What a D**k! I wouldn't buy that on general principal!:naughty::LOL:
(Actually, there is no steelbook I would buy at that price. At the end of the day- no frickin steelbook is worth that much. I collect, but I'm not irretrievably stupid!)

Had he waited, it would have surpassed $300 EASY!

@C.C. 95 you almost want a re-print to teach these greedy sods lesson, but of course that devalue the present copies... no altruism with collect-ability I suppose.

In other news... not bad for £35 :LOL:

@Driver . Nice!
And it HAS happened quite a few times. The Twilight Time edition of FRIGHT NIGHT was fetching $200+ a pop on ebay, and then a week later, Germany release an identical copy at €22! And those ebay sellers heard crickets!
And every time a new version of Iron Man or Avengers is scheduled- those old ones come out in force on ebay to try to sell before their investment becomes an extra copy only worth $40!

melancholia dvdprime is the grail of plain archive. yes the guy is asking a ridiculous price but someone will pay it or close to it eventually.

If i didnt have a copy of melancholia dvdprime already i would be tempted to buy it. yes its a ridiculous amount of money but its not very often these come along and its very often you spend this much on 1 blu ray :D

I sold mine a while ago after watching it,the packaging is beautiful but it had no replay value for me and i could not stand seeing the packaging knowing i would never watch it again so i had to let it go but hey that is just me

Am I the only one who prefers the PA version over DVDPrime?

This slip is amazing. So much detail.
My copy has a scruff in the corner, part of me died when I saw it. Happened when I moved houses as it must have got shifted around in the box!

i prefer the pink over the dvdprime as it has way better embossing,detail and the shiny.holofoil effect on the moon but i love the artwork on the dvdprime, just wish it was to a higher standard like the pink version. both are my fav plain archive releases.
