Maybe they just genuinely sold out. It went OOS before and then a small batch was made available as per usual with Play exclusives. Probably down to the fact that people like myself have reordered. I wasn't going to wait around for Play to sort out a return whilst the number of copies left was dwindling. Looks like it was a good decision now.
Well guys , just been on the phone with play.com and they have no more in stock so all i'll be getting is a refund , that sucks just a little i guess 
Shoulda' just bucked up and got the Aussie one. Every second post is damage news in here. Hopefully our GB leaders that are getting copies for us will return/exchange any damaged copies.
Received mine in the usual play thin cardboard packaging last Friday, not a mark on it. Lovely looking steel.
Any bubble wrap inside? If this is the new packaging, we are still not happy.

It was that cardboard box that kinda wraps around the case. I normally have Play orders in a padded envelope.
Maybe the GB order will be different because of such a large order that they will be shipped in a large box that should have better protection. Then shipped out to us individually in pristine boxes with bubble wrap. Lets hope that's the case.
I still think its not just down to play for the packaging. Mine looked like a manufactuer dent. Could be another bad production run like Dragon Tattoo?
Nah man I'm sure they'll fulfill yours soon, nothing to worry about, well not yet hehe (it's the poor packaging and the risk of it arriving damaged that's worrying man)

Is their policy not to ship it so that you receive it on the day of release?
I got mine yesterday. Was shipped last Thurs (I live in Ireland)
Received my copy last weekend and though it was packed in a simple and very fragile enveloppe.....the steelbook was in perfect condition

Agree with above, see picture of packaging. But mine has a dent on the back as well as some on the lip. Returned this and complained to them about packaging. After they realise the number of returns their getting, which must be a lot from what I read on HDN they have to change packaging.
