Just a shame that this wasn't released by HMV. Less chance of it arriving damaged and if it does, no messing about trying to get a replacement. Play are a joke and the only reason I still purchase anything from them is that they do have some awesome exclusives.

got both mine today, same as everyone else is saying, theres going to be alot of damaged ones which is a shame, i got 2 and 1 has damage but ill keep it as im not a collector anymore so no biggy but for collectors the packaging just isnt on.
Ok got both safe and sound from the look of things, thanks god for this blessing hehe, I was checking them properly by touching them all over feeling the debossed title and the spines just like a sex-manic, oh well you get my drift lol
Man this is really disheartening to hear all of you bringing in the damaged news. Why oh why can't Amazon UK get all of these releases. Now Im super worried about this release and all the future massive amount of steelbooks I signed up for from them in GB's.
Hopefully play.com will make this right and change there packaging for the Fox and Universal waves of steelbooks and the individual releases like Chronicle.

This is the reason why i cancel jaws and safe house and order it in amazon.co.uk. I will keep all my pre order especially exclusive only in play.com but if any steel available in amazon then sorry play im not gonna order from you anymore. I want my steel in mint thats all.
Mine got here perfect. I'm not sure how though as the packaging was all bent and looked as though my dog has had a go on it.
the plan has been to get the new packaging in affect by the june wave. Lot of logistics in the background, so some may or may not see new packaging in the MI4 wave. Sorry for those who got damaged ones as the news has been passed on and the importance of speeding this process up for all parties involved! We're doing our part, they're listening, just working on execution! Sorry mates.
Its good to now wreck but how difficult would it of been just to wrap a steel in a some bubblewrap
