Didn't mind paying full price for this in the end as I got 10% off 'Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist' which I'd been waiting nine months to buy for a reasonable price - glad to get that one and don't mind that it wasn't premature.

Preordered. Complete blind buy. Guess ill watch it soon and decide later if i want to keep it, or if i find it cheaper elsewhere :p

It's a Zavvi thread but we have so much mention of other retailers

I like the steel and I'm watching the movie this weekend, gonna see if I will preorder after seeing it or not.

sorry £22.99 for a 1 disc film is taking the pee just because is tom cruise. ill wait for a price drop too. this should be £17.99 no more.
the zavvi cash cow is being milked again. Also now wait for the art to change i got a maleficant feeling/tingling on this :D

also whilst i remember people goign to see this in the cinema in the uk odeon is running a comp people who book tickets before 10th august 2015, extract below

You and a plus one could be jetting off to Marrakech, taking in all the Morrocan culture has to offer including a quad biking experience in the desert and either a hot air balloon ride over the desert at sunrise or a helicopter flight over Marrakech.

Odeon comp click here

Because people think they're better than you because they own something from another country. I wish they'd just post in their own threads instead of ruining other ones.

It's easy to run out of things to write about a pending steelbook release apart from the obvious - the price, the artwork and just as importantly the disc(s) inside - and even less to write about when we don't even know what the artwork is going to be :)
I'd say it's not altogether surprising that comments about other steelbook releases creep into the thread as comparisons between the Zavvi and those are very relevant to U.K. and international members but I totally agree with you that these comments should not swamp the U.K. threads.

If the jumbo steelbook first available yesterday for pre-order has all 5 films (so far) for GBP 39.99 what is the point of this for GBP 22.99 and without even confirmed artwork ?
Will be cancelling my copy if I can but may not if the artwork is top-notch.
